A Good Man Down

David Hewitt was a great friend to the Aviation Museum by way of his deep interest in all things Heritage and his willingness to help out when and where he could...despite his senior years.

Last year, when the iconic Rolls Royce used to clear bush landing strips was installed in the Connellan Airways hangar it needed lighting installed. David, an electrician by trade, immediately offered to do the job.  Arriving with his ladder, the lights were soon installed. No fuss.  No bother.  Job done!

Thank you David for your commitment and endless energy and support.
