Vale, Christine Davy MBE. 7. 8. 1934 – 1. 7. 2026
Christine Davy MBE a pioneer woman aviator, passed away peacefully early on Wednesday morning, July 1st, in Queanbeyan Hospital, NSW. A memorial gathering will be held at 10.30am (CST) this coming Thursday at the Central Australian Aviation Museum. It will take place at the same time as her funeral which will be held on the family property in Bungendore, NSW. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Gliding records broken
On January 24, QLDer David Jansen teamed up with local Alice Springs pilot Grant Anderson for a 1,266 kilometre journey from Alice Springs to Balaklava in South Australia .
