Approximately sixty guests attended the opening of the Flying Archies by Director of Araluen, Felicity Green, on Sunday arvo.

Thank you to People's Choice Award sponsors, Edward & Sonya Connellan, the terrific 17 artists, 3 from interstate, who’ve produced the wonderful entries which have captured the essence & stories of so many of OUR aviation characters.

Lots of people, apart from the terrific Aviation Museum volunteers, have helped pulled the exhibition together: Edward & Sonya Connellan's generously sponsorship of the people’s choice award – be sure to cast your vote! Marg Johnson came up with the fun name; Central Australian Art society advised, promoted entries & loaned their easels;

Carol Adams arranged for our terrific musicians, piano students, brothers, Paddy & Thomas Hester (OLSH students) & terrific promotion by ABC, 8CCC, Centralian Today & SunFM, as well as Araluen. Many thanks. Franca Frederiksen (President)

NOTE:

Visit exhibition Wednesdays to Sundays from 11am to 3pm. Closes 31 May.

Great article with clear explanations! A floating shelf for wall is an excellent way to maximize storage while maintaining a modern look. I like how these shelves can hold books, plants, or décor items neatly. Wooden floating shelves add elegance and warmth to interiors. Your tips on installation and placement are very useful. Thanks for sharing such valuable information.
