The Central Australian Aviation Museum (CAAM) is run by a small diverse group of committed volunteers who put in well over 4000 volunteer hours per year. Some worked for Connellan Airways. Some are founding members. All share their knowledge with Museum visitors.
CAAM identifies and retrieves historic aircraft/artefacts/photos/documents, faithfully restores and displays them, identifies grants, encourages school visits with its down-loadable pre-visit activity sheets, and all the while providing enough volunteers to do the day-to-day tasks that enable the Museum to be open to the public five days a week.
“Congratulations to all past and present volunteers. Everyone’s assistance no matter how big or small is important and highly valued.”
Franca Frederiksen, President.
