Rolls Royce Returns
The 1920 Silver-Ghost Rolls Royce bought by the fledgling Connellan Airways in late 1939, converted to a working Ute and used to drag logs behind to smooth the ground for landing strips in the bush.
The late Senator Bern Kilgariff OAM AM cleared strips with it as a 16 year old.
This iconic vehicle, previously housed at the Alice Springs Airport, is now on display in the Heritage listed Connellan Airways hangar along with other aviation history.
